About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join JACJIA Pty Ltd as a full-time Retail Buyer based in Moorabbin, VIC. In this key role, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring products that align with the company’s strategic objectives and customer demand.

What you’ll be doing

1. Conduct market research to identify new product trends and opportunities
2. Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices, quality and delivery terms
3. Manage inventory levels to optimise stock availability and minimise overstocking
4. Collaborate with the merchandising and marketing teams to develop effective product assortments
5. Analyse sales data and consumer insights to inform purchasing decisions
6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations and competitor activity
7. Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers

What we’re looking for

1. This role is based between the hours of 1.00am and 9.30am Monday – Friday.
2. Minimum 2 year of experience as a Retail Buyer or similar procurement role
3. Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
5. Proven track record of delivering successful product ranges that meet customer needs
6. Passion for the industry and staying ahead of consumer preferences
