Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
- Plan and assist in developing seasonal menus
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation consistency
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food inventory and place orders when required
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Minimize food waste and manage portion control
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef, Cook, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent time-management and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain consistency under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
- Culinary diploma or professional training
- Experience with international cuisine (Continental, Asian, or Modern Fusion)
- Knowledge of menu costing and inventory control
- Leadership experience supervising kitchen assistants
